Rehabilitation means reshaping lives and restoring lost abilities after an illness or injury. It means treating the whole patient - physically, emotionally, and socially. In rehabilitation, the goal is to return the patients to their optimum level of function, so that they may have a better quality of life.
At Jonesboro Healthcare Center, patients are assisted in their goals for recovery in a home-like environment by a team of caring and highly qualified rehabilitation specialists. Following an evaluation of a patient's functional abilities, an individualized rehabilitation program is developed. The treatment program will address areas related to the patient's mobility, performance of activities of daily living, communication skills, and swallowing function.
Patients in our facility represent a wide variety of diagnoses including but not limited to:
- Stroke or aneurysm
- Orthopedic impairment
- Cardiopulmonary dysfunction
- Neurological disorder
- Decubitus Ulcer / Wound care

Our Rehabilitation Team
With an emphasis on rehabilitation, our staff provides innovative treatment approaches to assist residents in returning to their normal and viable lifestyle. Our rehabilitation professionals include occupational therapists, certified occupational therapy assistants, physcial therapists, physical therapy assistants, and speech language pathologists. Our individualized treatment programs are designed to serve geriatric patients in a wide variety of clinical categories.
